Current pregnancy cravings:
Ice cold water, I drink 12-14 glasses a day at least. Peanut butter and pretzels. Cheese. Popcorn. And sewing. ???
I seriously need help. I have become the crazy pregnant craft lady. It may be worse than a crazy cat lady. I have no idea what has come over me - I crave crafting. Especially sewing.
I have a few projects on the go right now. But today I just felt like starting another one. Saw this in one of those crazy expensive baby boutiques. Thought how stupid it was that is cost like $50. So I made it myself. So here you go, the latest in my crazy craft kick. The diaper clutch. Don't worry, there will be many crafts to follow. I know because I have a list. Someone stop me before it gets out of control!
This is what else we did today. Played outside. I came up from putting a load of laundry in to find Roman waiting at the door with his "ruff ruff" boots (they have little dogs on them) on over the footed pajamas. I added the coat and we had a great time out in the yard even though we looked a little funny. I finally convinced him to put real clothes on and we played at the park too. By afternoon we went on a walk with no jackets.
Such a nice change in weather from the snow storm I was in in Calgary yesterday! Light snow in the morning, okay for me cause I only had to drive a few minutes from Rhonda's to the Children's Hospital (went to a very good nursing conference). Other people said the roads were awful. And a serious storm on the way home during rush hour traffic. Loads of wet globs of snow coming down faster than my wipers could work. And then when I got out of the city by the Okotoks turn off bright and sunny and dry. Crazy Alberta weather. Sunday is supposed to be something like 25!

I am loving your craft cravings! It's so fun to see the new things you do - you're so talented! The diaper clutch is very clever.
I'll be down early next month - maybe we could take the boys to the park...they both love it as much as Ro!
Love the clutch! It's so cute and different then the diaper and wipees holder, you should sell these. And i have the amy butler bag pattern too but i've been to scared to try it by myself. Did you do the interfacing and everything? I love amy butler, i buy all her fabric for my bjorn covers. Good work, keep up the crafts because when baby #2 comes it might be awhile.
I love the diaper clutch!! I love the "crazy craft lady"... I can't beleive you can just whip these things up out of no where. I am not that talented!
TOTALLY cute diaper clutch!!! Love the fabric you used too!
don't stop sewing, start selling!
If you're going to have a craving, crafting isn't a bad one to have! If you ever run out of projects, I have about a million diaper bags you could sew for me ;) lol!! Seriously though, if you're not going to sell the clutch, I'd love to steal your idea. It would go great with my bags!
I love that you have become the crazy craft lady! That clutch is actually a great idea. There really are worse things that you could be craving too. By the way...saw the pics on Lindsay's blog of your girls night and I love your bangs/hot. So hot!
I also went through those phases of sewing, but I gave up on 2 projects already that are still sitting there!
I had exactly the same sewing cravings. Hadn't touched a machine in years and suddenly the crafting urge took hold of me... actually it still hasn't left. Enjoy!
